Yes, you can post a free listing in every category, but the number of listings is limited.
Your listing may be pending approval by a Moderator. If your listing does not comply with the regulations, it will not be approved.
If you cannot log in despite using the correct username and password, check the notifications in the email inbox associated with your user account. For security reasons, we sometimes require re-verification of the email address or a password reset.
